Discussion Workshops

The Omega Course is a National Lottery funded charity that offers free workshops to discuss death and dying. It helps members of the community develop confidence, both to think about their own end-of-life issues and to support friends and family to do the same. The Omega Course has no religious connection and is open to people of any age and background.
You can find out more about the charity and its founder Chantal Meystre – an NHS palliative medicine consultant – on the website: https://www.omegacourse.co.uk/
The course contains 5 workshops between 29 October and 26 November and covers communication skills, practical tasks such as wills and power of attorney, as well as removing the taboo of talking about death and dying. It’s a really special course and past participants say it removes some fear about the future. The course is great for anyone as unfortunately we will all experience death and dying in our lifetimes.
This FREE course takes place at Earlsdon Park Retirement Village, Albany Road. Tickets are available via Eventbrite – https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-omega-course-tickets-1503121881009?aff=erelexpmlt
Ideally people would attend all 5 sessions but if you miss one or two you would still be very welcome. There is a lot of material so it is split up to ensure the course remains light and informal.
