These will be mixed ability classes which has worked well in the past. My mode of teaching is demonstration first at the beginning of each session and then individual tuition based on the demonstration.
My teaching style is student centred. I like to find out where the student is in their process and assist them from this point. I can give advice on best places to buy art materials also.
We will work with line, tone, colour mixing. We will learn traditional and experimental techniques after basic skills have been established. I like to work in areas that students are interested in. We tend to work in a variety of subject matter. Such as, landscape, still life, portrait, figure drawing and animals.
The Tutor has 20 years of teaching experience, with an Illustration degree, Fine Art Masters and a City and Guilds in Adult Education.
